OUR STORY
Inspired by our passion self-empowerment, ZAM Jewelry was created as an outlet to express your true feelings in your everyday life, in a fun yet glamorous way. Every single piece of jewelry was designed by our Founder, with intention and true meaning behind it. Our bold statement pieces represent thoughts and feelings that are relatable, yet live into the desire to have jewelry that is long lasting, and more premium than costume jewelry. No jewelry should tarnish after only a few wears, and our jewelry is designed to last for years.
With that in mind, we are conscious of making our jewelry accessible to everyone by ensuring that the pieces are also affordable. No one should have to pay an arm and a leg just to feel good about how you look.
FROM THE FOUNDER:
“I wanted to create a brand that encourages you to be expressive and have fun with your accessories no matter what age they are. There is this notion that once you become an adult, you’re supposed to tone down what you wear, how you dress, and even what you say. Essentially, you go from fun costume jewelry to boring higher quality jewelry. I don’t believe in that, so I created ZAM to be the exact opposite of that, bold and expressive but still with quality materials.”

Esi was originally born in Toronto, Canada to parents from Ghana. From the moment she could speak, she was known for her bold personality, often striking up conversations with grown ups, or being the one person to speak her mind no matter who the audience was. That expressive personality continued into adulthood. She moved to Los Angeles in 2013, with the dream of “making it in LA”. After years of hard work, she found herself working for some of the most prestigious brands including Beautycon, Suja Juice, Neutrogena and more. Now in 2023, she continues to make magic, while inspiring others to do the same.

OUR CRAFTSMANSHIP
ZAM Jewelry was intent on finding the most skilled jewelry artisans to bring this vision to life. After countless hours of research, we decided to partner with jewelry artisans in Thailand. Thai craftspeople have been making desirable jewelry for centuries and the polishing of gems and the manufacturing of gold and silver jewelry have been vital parts of Thailand’s economy. For this reason, we knew this would ensure the highest quality for our consumers.
Wanting to live into our mission to better protect our planet and create jewelry ethically, we have also put our best effort to minimize our environmental impact, by utilizing recycled sterling silver in our pieces. All pieces of jewelry used, are traceable, as well as all other material. We are intentional in our choice of precious metal (silver etc.), to meet safety standards and be free of dangerous chemicals.
